So, you wanna be a rock 'n' roll star and get your rant published somewhere in world so thousands, maybe even millions can read it? You won't get paid, usually, but it sure is cool to get published, and damnit, a major newspaper publication credit on your CV looks pretty darn impressive. I can't tell you how many doors OP-EDs I've written have opened for me.

Following are links to newspaper OP-ED submission guidelines. Be sure to read submission guidelines carefully, especially in regards to word count. Submissions over the limit are usually ignored.
